Product Description

XLNT 8626 Airless Paint Sprayer for Walls and Renovation Work

The XLNT 8626 750W Airless Paint Sprayer is a portable electric painting machine designed for compatible wall coatings, ceilings, furniture, fences and general renovation work.

Instead of using compressed air from a separate compressor, the machine pumps coating material at high pressure through a hose and spray nozzle. This helps painters cover suitable surfaces faster than conventional brushes and rollers when the paint, pressure and spraying technique are correctly matched.

The machine operates on a rated 220V electrical supply and provides a listed maximum pressure of 3000 PSI, equal to approximately 20.7 MPa. Its listed flow rate of 1.2 litres per minute makes it suitable for household painting, maintenance work and compatible medium-scale projects.

750W Electric Motor

The XLNT 8626 uses a 750W electric motor, also described as approximately 1.0 HP.

The motor powers the internal airless pump, which draws paint through the suction system and sends it to the spray gun through the high-pressure hose.

Actual performance will depend on:

  • Paint type
  • Paint thickness
  • Nozzle condition
  • Inlet-filter cleanliness
  • Hose condition
  • Electrical-supply stability
  • Operating pressure
  • Spraying technique

Use a properly wired 220V electrical supply. An undersized or excessively long extension cable may produce voltage drop, cable heating and reduced spraying performance.

3000 PSI Maximum Pressure

The machine has a listed maximum pressure of 3000 PSI, approximately 20.7 MPa.

High-pressure paint delivery helps atomise compatible coating material through the nozzle. The pressure should only be high enough to create an even spray pattern.

Excessive pressure may cause:

  • Increased overspray
  • More paint mist
  • Faster nozzle wear
  • Greater material consumption
  • Reduced control around corners and edges

Begin with a controlled setup and test the spray pattern on cardboard or scrap material before painting the final surface.

1.2 L/min Flow Rate

The XLNT 8626 has a listed maximum material-flow rate of 1.2 litres per minute.

This flow rate supports compatible household and medium-sized painting jobs while maintaining a more compact machine format.

Actual paint output can vary according to:

  • Paint viscosity
  • Nozzle condition
  • Pressure setting
  • Hose resistance
  • Filter cleanliness
  • Paint-container level
  • Pump condition

Move the spray gun steadily to prevent paint runs, heavy patches and uneven coating buildup.

Standard 517 Spray Nozzle

The machine is supplied with a standard 517 airless spray nozzle.

The nozzle controls the spray pattern and the quantity of coating delivered. Its suitability depends on the paint manufacturer's recommended tip size and the surface being coated.

The 517 nozzle may be considered for many compatible wall-painting applications, but not every coating will work correctly with the same tip.

Never clean a blocked nozzle using fingers, needles, wire or sharp objects while the system is pressurised.

7.6-Metre High-Pressure Hose

The supplied high-pressure hose has a listed length of 7.6 metres.

This working reach allows the machine to remain in a stable location while the user moves along walls, around rooms or between sections of a project.

Inspect the hose before every use. Do not operate with a hose that has:

  • Cuts
  • Cracks
  • Bulges
  • Leaking joints
  • Damaged fittings
  • Severe kinks
  • Heavy abrasion

Never repair a damaged high-pressure hose using tape, clamps or temporary fittings.

83 MPa Hose-Pressure Rating

The high-pressure hose has a listed maximum pressure rating of 83 MPa.

This figure relates to the hose's construction rating. It does not mean that the machine produces 83 MPa of operating pressure.

Only compatible high-pressure airless-paint hoses and fittings should be used. Ordinary garden hoses and pneumatic air hoses are not suitable replacements.

Airless Spray Gun

A trigger-operated airless spray gun is included.

The gun allows the painter to start and stop paint delivery while controlling the direction of the spray. The trigger lock should be engaged whenever the gun is not actively being used.

Before spraying:

  • Confirm that the hose is connected securely
  • Check that the nozzle guard is fitted
  • Verify the nozzle position
  • Point the gun away from people and animals
  • Maintain a stable working stance
  • Test the spray pattern safely

Never place fingers or hands near the spray-tip opening.

Suction Hose with Inlet Filter

The machine includes a suction hose with an inlet filter or strainer.

The hose draws paint directly from the container, while the filter helps reduce the entry of larger particles, dried paint and contaminants into the pump.

Before operation:

  • Mix the paint thoroughly
  • Strain it where recommended
  • Place the filter below the paint level
  • Keep the suction hose free from sharp bends
  • Check that the filter is clean
  • Ensure all connections are airtight

A blocked or partially exposed filter may cause interrupted paint flow and an uneven spray pattern.

Compact Portable Frame

The sprayer has a protective tubular frame with an integrated top handle.

This helps users carry and reposition the machine between rooms, walls and job locations. The frame also provides a stable base while the sprayer is operating.

Switch off the machine, disconnect the electricity and release system pressure before moving it.

Do not carry the sprayer using the paint hose, suction hose or power cable.

Suitable for Interior Wall Painting

The XLNT 8626 can be considered for compatible interior wall-painting applications such as:

  • Bedrooms
  • Living rooms
  • Offices
  • Shops
  • Rental properties
  • Interior renovation
  • Repainting projects
  • Commercial maintenance work

Protect floors, doors, windows, furniture and electrical fittings before spraying.

Maintain a consistent gun distance and overlap each spray pass evenly.

Suitable for Exterior Walls and Fences

The machine may also be used with compatible exterior coatings for:

  • Boundary walls
  • Exterior plastered surfaces
  • Fences
  • Gates
  • Suitable outdoor panels
  • Property-maintenance work

Outdoor spraying should only be carried out in suitable weather. Strong wind can increase overspray and carry paint onto nearby property, vehicles or plants.

Suitable for Ceiling Painting

The long hose can support compatible ceiling-painting applications.

When spraying overhead:

  • Use suitable eye and respiratory protection
  • Protect floors and furniture
  • Keep the hose behind the operator
  • Use stable access equipment
  • Avoid excessive material flow
  • Maintain a consistent spraying angle

Do not spray toward ceiling fans, exposed wires, lighting fixtures or electrical fittings.

Suitable for Furniture and Panels

The XLNT 8626 may also be considered for compatible furniture, door, panel and woodworking coatings.

Finish quality will depend on:

  • Surface preparation
  • Coating viscosity
  • Nozzle suitability
  • Pressure
  • Spray distance
  • Movement speed
  • Number of coats
  • Drying conditions

Test the machine settings before painting valuable furniture or finished panels.

Paint Preparation

Prepare the coating according to the paint manufacturer’s instructions.

Before spraying:

  • Mix the paint completely
  • Remove dried skin or lumps
  • Strain the coating where recommended
  • Follow the correct thinning guidance
  • Check compatibility with a 517 tip
  • Test the pattern before production work
  • Protect surrounding areas

Do not automatically dilute every paint. Some airless-compatible coatings are intended to be sprayed without thinning.

Priming the Paint Sprayer

The pump and hose must be primed before normal spraying begins.

A typical preparation process involves:

  • Checking the hose and gun connections
  • Placing the suction hose in the paint container
  • Positioning any return line correctly
  • Selecting the priming function where provided
  • Allowing paint to enter the pump
  • Removing trapped air
  • Testing the spray gun safely

Follow the machine’s operating instructions for the exact priming sequence.

Cleaning After Painting

Clean the machine immediately after each painting session.

Paint allowed to dry inside the pump, hose, gun, filter or nozzle can cause blockage and equipment damage.

After use:

  • Release all system pressure
  • Empty remaining paint safely
  • Flush with a compatible cleaning liquid
  • Clean the suction filter
  • Clean the nozzle and guard
  • Flush the gun and hose
  • Wipe the machine body
  • Store all components dry

Use water for suitable water-based coatings and an approved cleaning solution for solvent-based or other compatible products.

Airless Sprayer Safety

Airless paint sprayers operate at extremely high fluid pressure. Paint injected through the skin can cause a serious medical emergency.

Never:

  • Point the gun at a person or animal
  • Put fingers near the nozzle
  • Check a leaking hose using your hand
  • Disconnect the hose while pressurised
  • Remove the nozzle before releasing pressure
  • Use a damaged high-pressure hose
  • Spray near flames or ignition sources
  • Leave the system pressurised unattended

Use suitable respiratory protection, eye protection, gloves, protective clothing and closed footwear.
